PANA Group’s origin dates back to 1950 when the construction and real estate development company Perret & Sosa Ingenieros was established in Venezuela. Over the years, it evolved into Edificaciones C.A., then became Perret Ingenieros (Pering), growing its operations to Aruba, Colombia and more recently, the United States.
Alberto Perret-Gentil has been running Pering’s Aruba operation since 2008. Jaime Gomez has over 10,000 housing units built under his belt and 20 years working in Aruba. Both already with 35 years of experience in the construction and real estate development business actively participated in Oceania Residences, Blue Residences, Azure Beach Residences, Harbour House and lately Casa Playa and Nanki Beach..
Together with Juan Vogeler who brings an enormous corporate finance expertise after a successful career in investment banking; decided to establish PANA Group in 2022; a spinoff of Pering, focusing on doing real estate developments in Aruba.

Meet the Team
Alberto Perret-Gentil
President, PANA Group | CEO, BlueAruba Vacation Rentals
With over $500 million in real estate development and investment projects across Aruba, Venezuela, the U.S., and Trinidad & Tobago, Alberto Perret-Gentil brings decades of expertise in construction, private equity, and project management.
He has successfully led major developments such as Oceania Residences, Blue Residences, Azure Beach Residences, and more recently, Harbour House in Aruba. Earlier in his career, he served as Branch Manager of Edificaciones CA in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela.
After earning his MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management in 1992, Alberto became CFO and Vice President of Planning at Seguros Orinoco, one of Venezuela’s largest insurance firms. Following its acquisition by Grupo Mercantil, he continued as CFO of Seguros Mercantil and later worked in Banco Mercantil’s Corporate Finance/M&A Division.
He has held board positions in insurance, leasing, finance, and healthcare companies, as well as several Homeowners Associations.
Today, Alberto is the President of PANA Group, a company dedicated exclusively to real estate development and construction in Aruba, and a spin-off from the Pering Group, where he led Aruba operations for 16 years. His earlier roles included project management and construction engineering in Caracas and Trinidad.
He is also the CEO of BlueAruba Vacation Rentals, a Board Member of VRPA (Vacation Rental Professionals of Aruba), Founding Member of Impact Hub Aruba, and Chairman of the PANA Foundation.
Alberto holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas (Class of ’88). He lives in Aruba with his wife Veronica and their three children.

Jaime Gomez

Jaime Enrique Gómez is a seasoned Venezuelan civil engineer with over three decades of real estate development experience across Aruba, Venezuela, and Spain. With a track record of developing more than 5,000 affordable homes, Jaime is known for combining technical expertise with a passion for creating quality communities.
For the past 25 years in Aruba, he has focused on luxury residential and condominium developments, playing a key role in iconic projects such as Palma Real, Oceania, Blue Residences, Azure Beach Residences, and Harbour House.
Jaime served as President of the Venezuelan Construction Chamber from 2016 to 2017 and remains an active member of the Interamerican Construction Federation (FIC), helping to shape policy and best practices across the region.
He earned his Civil Engineering degree from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas in 1989.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jaime is a proud sponsor of AMBLEMA, a foundation dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for over 10,000 children across 47 schools in Venezuela.
He has been happily married for 40 years and is a proud father of three and grandfather of three.

Juan Vogeler
Civil Engineer | Investor | Real Estate Developer
A graduate of Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas (Civil Engineering, 1989) and Harvard Business School (MBA, Class of 1995), [Full Name] brings a unique blend of technical, financial, and entrepreneurial expertise to every project.
He began his career as a project manager in Caracas, overseeing both commercial and residential developments before moving into global finance. After earning his MBA, he joined JPMorgan in New York City, where he spent 10 years in the Equity Capital Markets group, focusing on Latin America and U.S. industrial sectors. He later became Managing Director and Head of Latin America Equity Capital Markets at Merrill Lynch, leading major equity raises and public listings on the NYSE, NASDAQ, and local exchanges in Brazil and Mexico.
Following a successful investment banking career, he transitioned into real estate development, focusing on luxury residential properties in Miami as both an investor and developer.
He currently serves on the Board of Hospital Ortopédico Infantil in Caracas, a non-profit hospital supporting children with musculoskeletal disorders, and is an active member of the HBS Angel Investing Club of South Florida.
He lives in Miami with his wife.

Felipe Alberto Gonzalez

Felipe Alberto González Araujo is a Venezuelan civil engineer with over two decades of experience in construction and real estate development. Born in Caracas on December 11, 1977, he earned his Civil Engineering degree from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in 2001.
He is the Founder and Principal Director of Constructora FEALCA 2011 C.A., a company known for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects across Venezuela. Felipe’s hands-on approach and deep technical expertise have positioned FEALCA as a trusted name in engineering and construction.
Felipe began his career as a Resident Engineer Assistant with Promotora 204, contributing to key retail developments such as City Market and Oasis Shopping Center in Caracas. He later joined Obras TZD y Asociados as a Site Manager, where he led numerous high-profile projects including the Valle Arriba Athletic Club, the Astrid y Gastón restaurant, and major residential complexes like Terraza Toledo and Terraza Sevilla.
In 2010, he founded FEALCA, overseeing a wide variety of engineering works—from recreational pools and steel structures to commercial buildings and infrastructure projects like INAVI’s water tank system and slope protection for the Esamid Building. Notable developments under his leadership include expansions at the Bancaribe Tower, elevator systems for the Seguros Caracas Headquarters, and foundational work for Ciudad Jardín Shopping Center.
Felipe is recognized for his commitment to structural quality, innovation in engineering solutions, and meticulous project execution.
He currently resides in Caracas, is married, and continues to lead FEALCA with a vision for sustainable, efficient, and impactful construction.
